Well it's very clear to me utd are now favourites for league cos city can't defend and lfc will seriously struggle for 4th.

I still think we'd be hard pushed to get hold of a better manager and I'm not giving up on him yet, but there are real problems in defence that he doesn't seem able to overcome. Maybe we just need to bring in a new specialist defensive coach, because although ours may not be the best defenders individually, surely they can be coached to be a more efficient unit?
There are better defences out there with worse players, imo.

I'm 100% sure there was no malice in it but that is still a red card. A high boot to the face is a red card whether or not there was any malice intended.

Huge shame for us and Mané. No doubt if he hadn't gone for it he would have been accused of not giving 100%.

Killed the match for us unfortunately. I think we had every bit of ability to get 1 or more points from it prior to that.

High boot, studs out like that (and yes against a keeper, which probably shouldn't make a difference, but we all know it does) I can't see any ref not giving a red for that.

We played a team that played very well, I can have no complaints about the result.
There were 5 or 6 of their players who were really impressive with special shout outs to Wimmer and Zouma, up front Choupa-moting was sharp, Jese and Shaqiri looked like the players they should be, Fletcher was ok and Allen had a good game.
We will not be the last team to drop points against Stoke if they play like that.
