What will the team be then, this could be interesting? Do we look at the amount of games and play a young side? Or do we play a mix? We haven't won a trophy in years so we have to take this seriously imo.

Yep, Leicester are no mugs and may well play a full strength side. We cannot rest Matip that's for sure. I'd like to see Woodburn given a full game.

    My team would be...

    Karius
    TAA Matip Gomez Robertson
    Can
    Milner Woodburn
    AOC Studge Solanke

Am guessing we'll have a mix of experience and youth. Mane gets a rest anyway. I can see Solanke and Sturridge starting with Salah and Firminho on the bench. Ox might get a start in the front three or midfield. Not sure.

Moreno will start as Robertson played at the weekend and I think he'll shake up the defensive pairing again....i don't like that he does this so much to our CB's....They desperately need to form a partnership. Not sure who'll play RB as TAA has been targeted the last couple of games and is clearly not quite ready yet.

Couthino needs minutes so he should get half a game...

The kids should fill in the gaps. If Salah doesn't start then we have a serious lack of pace (again)!

It would be reaosnable to assume gomez will play, and robertson should have no issue playing.

Karius is prob a good call.

Can played this weekend so would henderson not play this?

same for windy... didn't play so why not?

    Woodbrun really should play.

After that though... klopp could do anything. ejaria for example.

    solanke should start for sure.

Its just impossible to see what he's going to do here.

Leicester are set up perfectly to beat us unless we play a more balanced game. If we play with 6 attacking players we'll get beaten on the break on more than one occasion.

They also used to be fairly decent with set plays. Right now every corner is simply swung in at pace to the far post and it's a guaranteed free header <doh>

Its the perfect storm with say klavan v vardy and leicester sitting deep drawing us on.

    Thats just in general play.

what you say on far post should read any corners going in at all.

Our best hope is Leicester are a bit worried after their start and will rest vardy.

I would be delighted if they do. I can see klavan getting the run around if not. I PRESUME lovren is unfit but we will see..

Assume TAA will play unless the plan is to shift Milner to RB in the at least 1 of the next 2 games as otherwise TAA has to play the CL game so Gomez rested for the PL game against Leics.
My guess is that Matip will be rested
Solanke & woodburn to start plus AOC Grujic .
Oh & Ward is our LC goalie so will start

    Ward
    TAA Lovren Klavan Moreno
    Milner AOC Grujic Woodburn
    Solanke Sturridge

though considering recent tinkering i'm probably completely wrong.

I say play the back line that will play the league game on Saturday. We cannot keep changing the back line and hope it will get better. It is criminal how one game its Lovren next its Klavan. No wonder they can't even build any confidence one error and its the bench.

Its time AOC gets to play in midfield with Can and Coutinho who still needs to get match fitness as he has hardly played. I'd actually play a diamond with Woodburn at the top Couts and AOC on side with Can holding. Strikers my pick is Solanke and Studge.

    I forgot about ward.

You could be right, it would make sense he would play.

Not sure about formation but you've quite a few names in that team there that probably need a game or would just be played by klopp in this rotation.
