Will Klopp go with our least to most expense realistic defence :
1. TAA Matip Klavan Flanno = total cost £4.5M
2. TAA Matip Klavan Gomez = total cost £8M
3. TAA Matip Klavan Robertson = total cost £12.5M
4. TAA Matip Klavan Moreno = total cost £15.5M
5. Gomez Matip Klavan Robertson = £16M (CP match day defence)
6. TAA Matip Lovren Robertson = total cost £28M (likely defence against Hoff)
7. TAA Matip Lovren Moreno = total cost £31M (Watford match day defence) - same price as Rio Ferdinand cost all those years ago.
8. Clyne Matip Lovren Robertson = total cost £40.5M
9. Clyne Matip Lovren Moreno = total cost £43M - not even the cost of Walker to City.
There are other combos as Flanno and Gomez could play left back.
I'll leave you guys to wonder why we don't have a better defensive record.
I cant think of many other top four prem league teams that could realistically put out a £4.5M defence. In fact i'm not sure if any of the promoted teams would have a cheaper defence.
VVD £70M would smash this.

clyne wont be fit surely.

IMO no 6 is where he should go but with milner LCM. i think he will go with no 9.

However every time you have a TAA and a free transfer lovren the defence will look inexpensive. they are our best players. give robertson some time here... so.... who cares how much it costs.
 
I've got this as the 5th leg in a 6 team acca, first 4 came in last night and I've got the draw here.

So that guarantees either a home or away win - take your pick <ok>

I'm just ready for us to have won already.

Want to be in the competition proper... And also see if it means any transfers coming in that may help us in league.

You should get money on us winning to offset the stake you wasted on the draw bet <ok>
 
Hoffenheim fans enjoying themselves in town today, they are about to march from there up to Anfield, there'll be traffic jams in the Mersey tunnels just when it's starting to get busy for rush hour.<laugh>

Still, at least there's no mention of any trouble.
