Match Day Thread Vs Fulham (A)

Fulham have played well against our system. They are closing down in midfield where we have been useless, and not letting TAA and Robbo get forward. Now Jota is injured Bobby has gone back to lazy passes to give the ball away constantly. We will be very lucky to get a draw out of this.

 

Let's have it right we've been utter **** all over the pitch bar Allison saving us from being 3 down..

The players look done in. You can only run so much before your body gives up. As can be seen by our mounting injury list.

The city utd game was exactly the same as was Chelsea, tired has taken its toll on fitness and speen of thought.

Unless we start to inject them with amphetamine I cant see anything getting much better

 

As I said about a month ago, we aren't going to win the league. The desire isn't as high as last season, its just a real shame that we could be handing to Spurs and even worse Mourinho

 

We are loading their right side. Robertson holding ground with the mid as Trent making the pitch wide has helped as an adjustment. Worried about Mane's attacking play he needs to step up with some goals as we have lost Jota so no one from the bench. Hope I have jinxed him

 

Our away performances are not good this season.

 

We're not playing well obviously and don't deserve much, but VAR really makes my ****ing blood boil. 3 minutes desperately trying to find fault with a precision tackle, then they don't even look (as far as we know) at a foul in the build-up to the goal.

Fabinho knocks the attacking players foot before touching the ball so technically, it should be a penalty. However, it's not a clear and obvious error and it shouldn't be taking 3-4mins to review.

Clear push on Salah too though, and that even get reviewed!!!

Fulham have been very good first half and could be out of sight, but they are not. We have been poor, lacking energy and deserve to be losing. But we are still in it and if we can nick a goal, it will be totally different. I just hope we can have a go at them second half
