Would you be ok with losing Barkley, If an offer was made, say £30+m?

He doesn't seem to be progressing and you might be better with the money in the long run. After yesterday you've got to ask if he's another with potential that looks to miss out on reaching that level.
Sky seem to be under the impression that Lukaku had announced his intention to leave this summer, or at the very least to seek out a new CL club.
Lukaku hasn't said anything about leaving, all he's said is that he isn't signing the new contract.

If someone arrives with £70m+ he's gone this summer though, if they don't he'll stay another 12 months.

Atmosphere was great!

Lucas was my MOTM, allowed Can to go wherever he wanted to which suits his game.

Origi stepped up for us around this time last year so I full faith on him. He's a good striker and can only get better.

No way is Lukaku worth more than suarez lol. You still drunk tobes.

How long is left on his contract?

The market has changed dramatically since you sold him and that's where the club see his value.

In May he'll have 2 years left

So your still have some say. Although a pissed off player is no good to anyone. Wait for him to sign a contract extension then be off next window <laugh>

I see £40-50 mill max personally.

Creative players is where the money seems to get spent nowdays.

Gotta say Tobes, your lot were pathetic yesterday. Thought you played terribly and then decided to turn nasty. Comments from Koeman too, especially after what happened to Coleman. Your team were a shambles from top to bottom and seemingly couldn't even get themselves up for the Derby game

Was thinking that about Just & PJ. They're both quick to point out Astro hasn't posted a content within minutes of Liverpool failing to win a match. Not seen either of them at all this weekend...

Sorry mate our board livened up for 10 min so I posted on there <laugh> looks like it's quiet again now....

And it's not within minutes of Liverpool winning a match it's the week long holidays he takes yet you can't shut him up when you win as you know...

You'll be telling us all his post count didn't drop dramatically during January next won't you?

Everton's tactics were to kick anyone in a red shirt. Disgraceful football from a supposed "footballing team". As I said yesterday the only Everton player who tried to play was Baines. Got the ball and passed and moved and played the game. Will probably get dropped the next game for not following orders. And what the **** has happened to Williams? A rock in defence at Swansea he looks totally lost and very slow for the blue ****. The Swans must be laughing to get £12 million for him as his form falls of a cliff.

Williams has never been a rock. Just an average defender who stood out in a mid table team.

Thank god the committee blocked that deal.

See it with a lot of defenders that come from teams who are always defending. They're good at sitting their soaking up pressure with solid 2 infront of them and just kicking it long when t comes near, but ask them to defend 1v1 for the whole game and when they have the ball try and pass it around and some just aren't comfortable.

Thats why the talk of Gibson and Keane going for 20m etc are crazy because at the moment all they are is solid kick it away defender. Not saying they couldn't adapt, but a lot don't.

The summer will see plenty of activity for us mate, but we could lose our star man, and Barkley as well if he doesn't sign a new contract.

I don't think losing Barkley would that big a deal tbh. Yes he can be good occasionally but even when he is in form he's not a world beater.

I was taking the piss mate. I get you to muddled up but one of you questioned where he was within a few minutes of one of our games finished previously. I pointed out at the time but I've not seen it (that quickly) since <ok>

I only give you guys **** because you give our large the other way. I also realise that 90% of it is aimed at astro... but he definitely doesn't bother you guys ;)

He's come on a lot this season and is starting to fulfil his potential, he didn't had a good game yesterday but I'd defo want him to stay.

£30m buys what these days? A 28 year old Sigurdsson probably, nah I'd rather keep Ross
Barkley is a good player but doesn't seem to see the difference between competitiveness and reckless aggression. Is he like that all the time, or just against us? :)
All his good work could be undone by the sort of tackling he shows in the derbies. Really, he could have done some serious harm to Lovren yesterday. He's what, 23 now? - he's tackling like an 18 year old trying to impress. He needs to channel that aggression into a more controlled determination to get the ball without taking out the man.

Your young lads at the back looked a bit out of their depth. All the wily old defenders in the PL know what Coutinho is going to do - he's only really got one move and he doesn't often get a sniff these days.

Joel Robbersdog was a bit rubbish.

Could be over aggressive against us because he's an local lad (isn't he?)

He is.
But he has got away with a couple of reckless challenges against us that should have been red, and after what's just happened to a team mate you would think it would calm him down.,obviously not.

If he isn't careful he may end up getting targeted in games.
