It may do. But unlike the Ramsey one I would prefer the focus to be on his recovery.....not laying the blame on Taylor

why? taylor did it deliberately.

Coleman was in the refs face 1 min before asking why bale only got a yellow.

1 min later his leg is literally hanging off.

taylor deserves more than merely 3 games ban imo

I've not read any comments on here since the injury. I was making reference to a conversation the other day when posters were happy about big players being missing from upcoming opposition teams.

I'd rather every team we face have their strongest XI. I'd rather earn something that be given it.

:)

purely selfishly... i still don't care. if snachez has picked up a knock.. good for us. if zlatan is out for 3 great.

I coleman misses a year starting with our game thats good for us in one game. I aint going to cry about it from our point of view.

I would play everton u9s when we play if i could frankly.

You have to prove intent to harm. If so Coleman could claim assault UEFA/FIFA claim assault.

Playing the blame game won't stop these sort of injuries or fix his leg

only consequences will. and frankly if coleman is out a year. taylor should be suspended for similar.

At some point this law has to come in IMO. In rugby union guys are sending people off for intent to concuss someone. Last year you could see teams deliberatly head shooting guys due to new concussion rules taking players off the park. Now union has gone so far if you even touch someone by accident you'll be yellowed and its auto red card if ref thinks you've gone deliberately at it.

that is ridiculous you are punishing the result of the tackle not the recklessness / intent .

We didn't need Coleman's career ended to beat Everton, it only benefits Man Utd who now look to have a top 6 finish [HASHTAG]#nailedon[/HASHTAG]

a moments reflection will tell you that for the Mancs 6th or 7th hardly makes a difference as they are already in the Europa.what they want surely is top 4.

Imo the intent was clear.

Accidents can occur but imo that was no accident.
Trouble is how can you prove it until they have retired and then bring a book out admitting to the intent :bandit:

Not a wum at our blues, but players have got away with a lot of disgusting challenges down the years and later after retired decide to confess.

In suarez case did they need proof to ban the biting **** <laugh>

No only needed the word of that non lying twat era. Who later basically admitted he exaggerated

Did fifa need anything to ban him bar a video.. nope. He will have got longer than Coleman will be out for a minor mark on an Italian

Coleman may never play the same again. Taylor might get only 3 games for deliberately attacking him... yet people say we can't punish It?

I see lots of cases where it's done.

I remember a couple rugby lads getting a year ban for stamping etc.

Ehh?

"IF they win" and not "unless..". :bandit:

It really is when they win imo.

If we had the same level of team left as rivals last year I would say same.

Last year I think we were all looking at Seville from qf stage hoping to avoid them. There's no such club this year for utd to avoid

Meh you have just highlighted bullshit our club have had to deal with, not the norm.

Rules are dif now esp with replays, but my point was how do you prove intent unless they admit to it after retiring from game.

The fa eufa and fifa are hardly a respected establishment are they, and are more often than not, worst than players who commit these fouls.
