The allegation was aimed at Birmingham. Nobody ever said Newcastle didn't stand up it and that's irrelevant anyway in terms of the allegation.
If he wants to argue they weren't dirty bastards at least we could argue the actual point.

I agree with most of that, but you don't forget people/teams being dirty.
I'm sure we've all played at some level, and if someone makes a snide tackle on you (or a team mate) you don't just let it go, you get the **** back.

Agreed, delighted to smash the cheating dirty ****ers and ironic the only player to come out of that game with a serious injury was their player. Not saying he deserved it but couldn’t have happened to a nicer team.
