Just because we stood up against it and weren't bullied doesn't mean they weren't dirty, it can be both things, and it was.
The allegation was aimed at Birmingham. Nobody ever said Newcastle didn't stand up it and that's irrelevant anyway in terms of the allegation. If he wants to argue they weren't dirty bastards at least we could argue the actual point.
I think they liked seeing our players being fouled. It takes all sorts. Some guys that can't let go of the 70s
I just think older folk want football to be like that, so when they see it they get behind it. Personally I want our best players on the pitch in the cup final, and the last thing I want is filthy bastards between now and then kicking lumps out of our players
You have to be tough to be at the top table whether forward or defender, both employ dark arts and another reason why Isak scares the **** out of every defender because they can't get near him,we won happy days and forget about getting roughed up,we have a lot to play for this season so let's move on.
I agree with most of that, but you don't forget people/teams being dirty. I'm sure we've all played at some level, and if someone makes a snide tackle on you (or a team mate) you don't just let it go, you get the **** back.
I remember Dorty Leeds United from the 70's and they are still a horrible bunch of dorty bastards today
For the first time in my life I feel like I'm being Munsoned. People defending Birmingham Cities filthy oafs.
Agreed, delighted to smash the cheating dirty ****ers and ironic the only player to come out of that game with a serious injury was their player. Not saying he deserved it but couldn’t have happened to a nicer team.
