I still have a glimmer of hope their defence isnt the best, we just were not clinical in front of goal. Get an early goal at anfield and you never know

Well that's a reality check. Four good chances, one an open goal. You just can't miss that many chances away in the CL. Proves Salah and Mane are good players - not great ones. And Barca will get at least one at Anfield. Even is Messi does **** all again as he did in the first half, if he gets a free kick 35 yards in...

Oh well; if we get twenty three open goals we might JUST get four.

Oh, and leaving it to 80 mins in the swap Windy at the head of a diamond (what was that about?) with Bobby. Oh ****ing dear.
 
**** me boys, we've just gone away to the camp nou and made Barca look ordinary. Thanks hey couldn't keep the ball for most of the match.

3 goals against, the first was an astonishing finish, the second was a luck bounce, the 3td was a great freekick.

We should have scored, ay no point did I think **** me they are better than us.

Usually the next season **** bugs the **** out of me, but to see what klopp has done year on year, I can only approach the future with with good feeling

Gutted. The difference between the two teams was both finishing and final ball. Barca have two world class finishers. We do not. At 3-0, Barca had had 4 shots on target.

Not only that but we were in great attacking positions on numerous occasions and our final ball was woeful.

Not a great night for us. 3-0 flatters them, we dominated large parts of the game but if you cannot take advantage of it, it’s of no use.

We should have come away with at least one goal. The 2nd and 3rd probably don’t happen if we had scored.

**** happens guys. Barca showed their absolute class and their absolute cynicism too. I'd rather lose trying our best than lose playing dog **** like in the group stage away to a bunch of nobodies.

We were decent tonight. Missed 2 or 3 chances, one a sitter and they took their chances well. Once they got second they chance play totally and passed us off park cos we were chasing it

But you know what, I thought we played well despite the score line. Who the **** goes to Barca and has more possession and shots? I've never seen them sit so deep, so scared of their opposition. First goal a brilliant finish from nowhere, second a fluke and the third world class. Can't plan for that. Another window or two to improve on some of the more average members of the squad, get a few more clinical lads in there, and we'll be blowing them off the park. We had several big chances.

Anyway, still Anfield to come, special performances have happened in the past.

That is spot on also I don’t remember the last time Barcelona took off a forward for a defender. But, there’s a second leg to be played and if we play like we did tonight and hopefully put the chances we had in the back of the net then who knows. Up the reds

Yeah you really made Barca look ordinary in your 3-0 defeat.

I am absolutely gutted.

This is not the way we should lose a first leg of a cl semi final. A 1-0 or even 3-1 we are still in the tie. We will get a load of pats in the back. But we are out of the semis. Unless we score at least 4 goals. And six if they score 1.
