Klopp's LFC fitness update: Henderson, Keita and Salah Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are set to miss Liverpool’s trip to Arsenal on Saturday as they continue their recovery from injury, but there are no fitness concerns relating to Mohamed Salah. The midfield duo are closing in on returns to full training at Melwood after both picked up respective hamstring issues recently; however, the clash at Emirates Stadium will come too soon for them. Meanwhile, Salah was this week pictured wearing protective support on his right wrist, but is not in doubt for the encounter with the Gunners. https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/323423-klopp-injury-update-liverpool
KLOPP: WE NEED FULL PACKAGE TO BEAT ARSENAL Jurgen Klopp has never lost against Arsenal as Liverpool manager but the German boss says his side will need to be firing on all cylinders if they are to maintain their unbeaten start to the league season. "It's always been a big challenge for us. They are really strong. It will be a very interesting game for sure. We need to be ready for that. "They score a lot of goals and they are really good defensively. We have to make sure they don't score. You need the full package in games like this."
KLOPP: SO FAR SO GOOD 10 matches played. Eight wins and two draws. Jurgen Klopp is pleased with how the Reds have begun the Premier League campaign but admits it is just "the start". "So far so good. Quarter of the season is nothing. It's still the start. As long as the boys are fit, we have a really good football team."
KLOPP ON 'FAVOURITE WEEK' Klopp says he is looking forward to his favourite week(s) of the season - the international break - but knows his side have an important pair of fixtures to tackle first. “The most intense period of the season is still to come. We have an intense week, then international break - my favourite!”
KLOPP READY FOR EMERY'S ARSENAL Klopp's Liverpool came out second best when he last faced Unai Emery as Sevilla defeated the Reds in the 2016 Europa League final. He doesn't want to analyse the changes the Gunners have made since the Spaniard took charge at the Emirates. "It's not my job to compare Arsenal to last year. It's about this year. [Arsene] Wenger is one of the best managers in the world and sometimes after a very long time (at a club) the mood at a club changes. "Everybody in football knows how good Emery is."
