we put zero and I mean zero into pressing their back line and two average enough cms.

Our midfield has blown us up but our back 5 has been such an improvement we are just hanging in for the odd chance and winning games as a result.

We are not on top of teams forcing chances and just scaring sides. It's just not happening.

I think it's worse then that - they won't admit it, but that lino doesn't know the rules. There's basically four situations from which you cannot be offside from that supersede everything regarding passages of play:

1) Goal kick

2) Corner kick

3) Throw in

4) If you are level or behind the ball.

I've now seen Prem linos (and refs) give offsides for all four of them. They won't admit it - they'll come up with some crap about interfering with play in the first passage (didn't, because the goal would have stood had Bobby's clip gone in), and he wasn't unsighted or any such think. He simply didn't know the rules, and that's that. Another ****ing beachball situation. Incredible incompetence.

If we've got a goal kick and Bobby stands in their penalty area whilst the opposition stand on the halfway line, the keeper boring it to Bobby is 100% offside.

I actually accept lino's ****ing these calls up more than other decisions because there is such a big distance between the ball and the players.
