Think of some of the best defenders youve ever seen and then think of kompany. Hes a very good defender but thats it.

He is world class in the current era of defenders, which is quite a poor era IMO. World class means one of the best around currently, I did not say he was up there with the best of all time. Name me a side in Europe that Kompany would not be a first team regular for? :biggrin:

So by default he is world class? I guess you are right but that means gary cahill isnt far behind <laugh>
