Hope you don't mind, but I've copied the URL's & posted them on the Cardiff boards' music thread (Genuine intentions....might not agree on football matters, but your music taste is '**** hot'. Surely the thread can accommodate the occasional change in direction. <ok> No requirement to be hard and fast.

I seem to remember some Bilko episodes where music was writ large into the script/plot,viz,an Elvis Presley look alike,called Elwood Prestle(?).
Bilko tried to tape him when he was singing in the shower. I think he also tried to get Bing Crosby into his platoon.

The chimp went to "call for another lawyer". Genius indeed. <laugh>

Hmmm. It's not really my thread, but I know what you mean. I regret putting my name in the title,it's a bit pretentious.

In hindsight,perhaps "Anything goes,within reason", would have been a more all encompassing title. <cheers>

OK - still reeling on Bowie. <sorry>

This was Rick Wakeman's tribute on Radio 2 recently. He played on the original of course. This had the public blubbing when it was aired. Simply beautiful.
