I know we can get a little sentimental about player but for me it's time Defoe moved on (again). He has over his time at Spurs proved only two things; firstly that he cant play a bigger part in holding up the ball and secondly being far too selfish in possession.

I find him our most frustrating player.
 
I think this is a brilliant signing. Vert will add steel to the defence and has scored a fair few goals. Hopefully we will add some much needed goals from set pieces this season - he takes a decent free kick from what I have seen and he aint bad at taking penalties either

it wouldn't surprise me. Is Daws likely to start next year that regularly? I don't think he is.

therefore it's going to need to be a regular starter.

who else could it be? Parker? VDV?
