Very difficult not to be negative when your team hasn't won for nine games....only two wins will guarantee Div 1 football....anything else will need other teams failing to deliver.....some of them are showing fight....Argyle are only showing surrender. One good thing is that Accrington seem to be safe now.....that might be a good thing....or it might mean they play now with no pressure.
Cannot comment on this one but one of those hiding under the stairs situations until safe to come out! If safe!
To make matters worse just opened a new pack of Tower Gate digestives with me coffee but noticed it had a small hole and not sealed correctly so they were soft. Looked at manufacturing location and was sodding Wimbledon. ...nuff said!
1.....Good news....Argyle cannot be relegated today. 2.....Walsall can be relegated today. 3.....AFC Wimbledon are far and away the form team at the bottom of the league....home to Wycombe and away to Bradford...they could easily stay up. 4.....Argyle's game next week against Scunthorpe...will be the biggest League game we've played for a long time. 5.....We need to get something out of todays game.....preferably a win. 6.....Fighting spirit needed today by Argyle....if not it's only down hill from here.
Just been reading the pre-match analysis on Argyle Life. An Accrington fan admits the pitch is like a crater with more sand than the Sahara, making a Route 1 approach essential. Now would NOT be the time to re-install Freddie Ladapo as the central striker, whatever has been going on with him. I also can't see Reuben Lameiras twinkle-toed style being very successful on a poor surface and I'd pick someone with more pace and power. We have Anderson and Ainsworth to pick from - or indeed Ladapo starting his runs from a wider position. Their defence is described as big but a bit shaky, having been repeatedly disturbed by loan players being recalled. We are likely to have a man over in midfield: they play 4:4:2: but can we get into their back 4 while at the same time stopping Billy Kee?
Macey starts, Cooper on the bench. S**t. Taylor starts, Ladapo AND Lamieras on the bench. Are we matching their 4:4:2 with Taylor and Carey up front is it 4:5:1? Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S9
Macey, Threlkeld, Edwards, Jones, Sawyer, Ness, Fox, Sarcevic, Songo'o, Carey, Taylor. Subs.....Lameiras, Anderson, Canavan, Ladapo, Smith-Brown, Fletcher, Cooper. Macey playing.........We need goals today....so we start with our two top scorers on the bench ?....Adams taking a big gambol....
Actually 4:1:4:1 apparently. Songo'o the first of the "ones" presumably. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S9
