I think they got that decision on Willian correct personally

Yeah I didn't see any contact unless he left his leg trailing as he jumped and grazed a toe.

I'm all for VAR though and I think it's been implemented well, not too intrusive. The players can **** off with drawing the rectangle though, might have to start carding them for it they're all at it all game.

VAR, ABBA, YABADABADOO???!!!! I wish they would just leave football alone!
Too many changes !
I agree that we have to move with the times, but there is too much change, which causes confusion.

load of crap
The players are all asking for var at all incidents
Should be used for goal line technology only
:emoticon-0148-yes:Agree as many contentious incidents like last night are subject to the ref's view, body motion of players and conning by the players. It's going to result in var being ridiculed for most contact incidents imo. By and large referees give an honest decision based on their view which is different to fans views so Var for GLI's only :emoticon-0148-yes: and get ref's on football pundit panels <doh>

Before long there will be contesting throw ins
Get that camera and look it brushed off his foot last

I think it was a penalty but the ref didn't and he's in charge of game. At Chelsea, it was a brave call and I really don't think he was being biased in favour of Norwich. It was his honest view of the incident. End of. VAR proved even more controversial. Used for only goal line incidents for me.

But that's not what it's for. Goal line technology has it's own tech

:emoticon-0148-yes: Thanks for pointing that out its what I meant for the use of technology only to be for goal line decisions

Fair dos, I think it's a sad state of affairs but with Former refs admitting bias and the ref governing body ordering Refs to say they haven't seen incidents(Which they have) so they can over turn decisions they've proved humans can't be trusted to uphold the integrity of the game. That and referees allowing diving and cheating to take a hold in the game. There's no choice now. Tech isn't ruining the game. Humans are.

Sadly ref errors have always happened but now technology and over analysis makes it really hard to take (unless you get more then you lose). But as demonstrated in the Chelsea game var for incidents is still not to be trusted. Goal line technology only atm for me and no silly money for referees as this leads to dodgy calls and them open to corruption/pressure .

I'm not talking about errors, i'm on about certain information coming to light meaning we don't know if they're errors or blatant cheating from refs. Refs have proved there's a lack of honesty and integrity from within. Errors are mistakes, accidents. That's not what I'm on about. You want your game back to normal deal with the cheats. They are the reason for this not the tech, the tech is a solution to cheating bastards. it just so happens catch mistakes on the way. In less than a minute too. 2 or 3 minutes are regularly wasted from players crowding the ref so it's likely more efficient too.
