The decision has gone to VAR. They are drawing crayon lines to decide whether to use it or not. When will the decision on using VAR for the final be made?

Not anymore mate. We need to watch it back 369684 times and suck the life out of the game for fans in the ground and then still give the wrong decisionMistakes or thing being missed were part of the game.
and then have the balls to say we are 'improving the game'
. And we still let refs hide away and not explain their decisions in post game inteviews. Haul the ****ers out in front of the cameras after the game and release the audio recordings from the games within 10mins of the final whistle. Not anymore mate. Another reason I hate it. The big teams get things replayed at a dozen times whereas the other teams don't. Corrupt as ****.It will always be biased aswell just like it's always been for as long as I remember.
NoDo we know who the ref is yet?
I was talking to a lad in the club last night and he said that VAR will only be used for the championship playoff final. I have no idea if this is true though.
I don’t think I want it. I like football the way it was.You must log in or register to see media
No further update from the EFL other than that.
City first half yesterday. Kurt Zouma blatantly kicks Jésus in the knee. Ref missed it. Sky commentator says “var say no clear and obvious error”. It was as clear and obvious as it gets. This happens a lot of the time. Someone is saying “we’ll give it when we think we need to”I'm for var in principle, but I think it needs a major rethink. It's not being used correctly, but the concept of checking quickly to make sure decisions are correct has to be a no brainer. The rules need refining to accomodate it properly, i think. That being said, I'm completely against playing a whole competition and then changing the rules for the final game. Hope it doesn't happen.
If that's the case, won't it have to be a premier League ref?Presumably a ref who is familiar with VAR will have to officiate. So not the usual L1 dross?
There's always two sides to this one. Great if it works for you...but terrible if it doesn't. I think for this game and what Wycombe get up to may not be a bad thing. The other to look at this is that hopefully soon we will be back in the Premier League so we would have to accept it whether we like it or not.
