I think a lot of people wanted him here at the time, but Spurs were their usual awkward selves, and we ended up with PVA instead, and a lot of people then advocated going for Marcus Alonso to form a partnership down the left side whose potential would have been awesome, in fact any two from those three and we could not have gone wrong.

I mean when he came on loan mate, we didn’t want him then.

We absolutely did end of his loan.
