We tried to buy Rose if I recall right Spurs wanted a look at him in pre-season and decided to keep him. Love that he still pops up for games and that, top man and none of us wanted him!
I think a lot of people wanted him here at the time, but Spurs were their usual awkward selves, and we ended up with PVA instead, and a lot of people then advocated going for Marcus Alonso to form a partnership down the left side whose potential would have been awesome, in fact any two from those three and we could not have gone wrong.
