It doesn't always work out like that... Just because they didn't score, doesn't mean they were playing badly. Sometimes it's just where the ball lands.Don’t see the game but a little disappointed that neither Kelman nor Celar scored.
Good luck to Kakay, always tried. So no one fancied jumping in and pinching Stevenage's trialist that they had at the back .
Hes a free agent so wouldn't cost us much.
His name is something like Kakay or something.
Worth a punt????
Wouldn’t read too much into the match which was a more intensive training session. However, there were several positive signs which show genuine promise for the incoming new season.
Am starting to look forward to the start of new season.
In 1967 as Division Three Champions my Dad brought me to Oxford United for an anticipated Coronation, we played horribly and lost, even though on paper we fielded a great team. "after the Lord Mayor's show........" as Dad always used to say. Another one of his sayings, applied to cards, was "if you haven't got the cards, you can't play", which I guess could also be applied to football teams!I remember losing 4 nil to Oxford in a " preseason training session ".
I am happier than I was then!
