Wake up Dave, I thought you Paris types took August off? Seriously, if you are taking on this task again this season cheers in advance, and of course friendlies don’t count.

Especially behind closed doors friendlies like this one

News:
***** Players missing in Stevenage friendly *****
Our opener at Heston should see several of our new signings take to the pitch in the behind closed doors game at 12 noon.
Clarke-Salter , and Alfie Lloyd are recovering from operations. Frey and Madsen had knocks in training . It is being shown on QPR +.*

JSC now officially rechristened as Bloody JCS, he’s in the Luke Young money for nothing league.

Apparently it doesn’t matter how many weights Frey lifts he’s still made of crystal.

Good news re Madsen, I didn’t even need to pay anyone to give him a ‘knock’.

Kolli also not available as he played for the kids in their cup final after the first team had finished so had later holiday.

I take this to mean that Celar is available!

* for a fiver, or £20 package for all six pre season matches! Can I resist? Yes.

Just bought the 6 pre-season games for 20 quid on QPR+ which is less than the cost of 2 half litres out anywhere here. So hopefully will get some flexible and fluid entertainment.

5 mins in. Nothing notable so far.

So, who can identify the new players? Who is this left back?

Terrible error from Joe Walsh. Cross comes in, Walsh parries it straight into the path of incoming striker when he could have punched it over somewhere. However, makes a good save from the feet of the incoming striker.

No rhythm in the game from either team so far. Hard to see any particular style of play.

The only difference I can see in us is making a few more incisive passes through to attacking players feet further up.

Kelmann looks strong when holding up.
