And to think Steve Bruce is worth around £30m and yet he won't resign just to get his hands on another £3m.
Terrible performance on the whole. Bruce has got to be on something to keep picking Cieran Clark. I think the lad has done ok for us but he's been utter **** for ages now. His positional sense at present is appalling. Bruce and the coaches must carry the can for this current haphazardness we have at the back. We are not doing something right training wise. Bruce seems to have the same insistence with Clark as he does with Lascelles when he is fit. Its patently obvious to everyone Schar and Fernandez are our best bet for a two. It'll help us play too which is the alleged intention.
We are just gash though and have gash players. This ASM experiment is a disaster. He is starting to get lazy, not chasing **** down too, probably because he hasn't a clue what the role is and is getting frustrated.
Also what the **** is going on with Willock. He's been awful. Nevermind recapturing last years form, just any kind of form will do.
Hayden is just catastrophic with the ball. He looked our best in terms of effort and won some tackles. But he is so far away from PL midfield class on the ball its unreal. His passing is woeful. Jacob Murphy as your game changer? ****s sake man.
I never like to get too carried away early but unless we get Wilson fit soon, and sort our defence out, we are asking for the R word.

Everyone I know has us pegged on for relegation, they just looked through the squad and it’s championship level at best in most cases. But most of it does sit with a woeful excuse for a manager.
It’s lacking absolute basics. Why would you have your fastest ball carrying player as the highest man up the pitch? Why are we playing our worst centre backs, which is a weak area anyway, and regularly picking three? Why are we changing formation several times in a match? Under 10s don’t do that. Why are we picking so many out of position constantly?
I just don’t understand why he can’t look at the personnel and work on a couple of systems that suit his players. You need ASM wide so if he is doubled up on, space is created elsewhere. I hate Gayle but not playing him when Wilson is injured is madness, it should be like for like in a system that works.
Full backs don’t need to attack there’s no one to cross it to, keep it tight. I could go on and on, and yes the players are mostly **** but **** me Bruce just doesn’t have a clue what to do.
Hate to say it but Wilson will come back and probably save Bruce’s bacon. Then get injured.
Are we missing Shelvey?
Even with Wilson back, I can't see us getting the 7 points needed to get back on track from these next 4 games. More likely we will get 1 point. I fully expect us to have 4 points from 11 games.
