Looking at it all, I think whoever takes Pennsylvania takes the white house

AgreedWe occasionally suspend the no politics rule for a short time, for major events such as elections, but the lifting of the restriction is dependent on everyone behaving themselves. If this thread is just lots of posters throwing insults at each other, it will be closed, as that's precisely the reason we have a no politics rule in the first place.
We'll keep it contemporary and call it populism, Berlusconi and Trump can be called populist yet are fairly obnoxious characters, Farage is very similarly obnoxious, however populism can be more appealing under better leadership for example Meloni in Italy, and possibly Vance in America.Depends on what you regard as far right. Some people regard anyone not as far left as Mao as far right.
There was less conflict under Neville Chamberlin than Winston Churchill but I know who I'd rather have by my side in scrap.

If some of the final polling is indicative of shifts amongst certain demographics then there is a route to 270 for Harris without it, but I agree, that's the most likely scenario and it's likely to be turnout which decides it.
Bobby’s brother?Yes, he called him JP Mandell.

A person’s opinions on Chamberlain and Churchill is a good litmus test to how historically-literate they are.

I haven’t checked, but how is Milei getting on in Argentina?
I agree. Berlusconi and Trump are crass. Their crassness won them a niche support base but eventually that bravado wears thin. They lack tact and are/were outsiders from politics. A person like JD Vance could inherit that populist base and make it more palpable to swing voters because he actually has tact, he chooses his words carefully (unlike Trump) and he knows how to play politics better than Trump.

I'm not sure Vance would win the next nomination, I think Ron Desantis could be the nomination in the next election

Vance is Musk's pick isn't he? Won't be short of funds.
