But you don't think he'll give up do you?

He might not give up, but the Republican party will abandon him pretty sharpish once the election is over and done with, and once that happens, he's completely fooked.

Mike Pence is probably looking forward to some piece and quiet.

The result was going to be contested which ever side won, I don't know why anyone is shocked or trying to be partisan.

True enough.

If he loses, Trump would be better spending the next several years just blaming it all on the Russians, it's the done thing these days. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I would like to think one of the fawning acolytes having a quiet word along the lines, "enough now, enough, we lost" But, no, he will carry on. and on. Probably right up to the supreme court, loaded with similar toadies, who will also tell him "No".

At the moment, he's leading in most of the remaining states, and around 12,000 votes behind in Nevada. Why would he give up?

I might be wrong but I’m sure I heard andrew neal say trump has got Arizona as there is one county to go and it is a trump stronghold? After that it was all it’s going to Biden
Might be wrong like but I’m sure I did hear that

According to Associated Press, Arizona has only has one of the dozen or so counties near completion of counting, all of the others are still in the 80-90% counted range.

At the same time, Associated Press already has called Arizona for Biden.

Arizona has been weirdly covered though, Fox News among some other outlets has it down as a Biden win already, and some haven't called it yet.

There are 4 Counties left to declare in Arizona, three are smaller, but Trump leaning, and one is fairly even, with a slight edge to Biden. Yet some outlets have already declared it for Biden. It'd be a big call for Trump to take it though, and I didn't count it in my previous post, as the Grauniad have added it in to Biden's total.

Yes, he is leading. Historically postal votes in those still to be declared states are democrat votes. He knows this, that is why he is trying to have the count stopped.

The exchanges have the following prices, in decimals,

Georgia - Trump 3.35 Biden 1.37
Penns - Trump 8.2 Biden 1.11
Arizona - Trump 5.0 Biden 1.24
N. Carolina Trump 1.11 Biden 8.0

Looking at those numbers, which have fluctuated since 4.30 gmt yesterday morning, Trump was leading after the walk in vote was counted. Once they started on the postal vote it all began looking a tad ominous. If anyone ever checks the timeline when the postal vote count began, and the time of his threat of legal action, at a guess the two will be coincidental. Ignoring all the pre election noise that is.

The vast majority of remaining votes to come in are from predominantly Democrat areas. The longer the counting goes on the nearer Biden closes in for the kill, hence Trump wanting to stop the count now. He's finished regardless of his shenanigans. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump lost all the remaining states.

Oh well, at least America will be no longer be divided if Bidet wins....

He has a ready made excuse for underachieving, as he'll claim the upper and lower houses and the judiciary are blocking his plans. American politics is a bit more than just the President.
