I don't pay a great deal of attention to the minutiae and neither should you, its not our country, and we have no say in what happens there..

The anti Trump bias of the MSM here is tedious so I tune out. If DT winds up Sopel and the likes of Simon Schama, he can't be all bad.

What I do is none of your concern. The USA is the most powerful country in the world, this election has a huge impact on every nation. As their closest ally, we should be watching this very, very carefully.

There isn't an anti-Trump bias, they call it like they see it. If he comes out and says the press lie, they can't be trusted etc (what a load of **** that is - straight out of another charismatic speaker's playbook) it's little surprise the press aren't endearing to him, especially when such claims are completely unfounded. But I've never seen the BBC, Sky etc come out and say they don't like him. It wouldn't surprise me if they did, but I've never seen it.

Simon Schama who led the charge against anti-Semitism in the Labour party, a former Harvard professor and one of the most intelligent people this country has ever produced. It's usually good form to listen to people smarter than you, not deride them.

This is fkin mental, I cannot see myself sleeping any time soon.....no idea what to make of any of it yet, Florida looks too close to call, sure that'll be the trend through the evening.....got 200 on Trump at 2/1 to soften the blow if the ****nut wins again

Florida never makes sense.

All the other 49 states could vote 97% one way, and Florida would still be 49.9% to 50.1%.

Yeah, big outlier with the Latino vote, ex Cuban and Venezuelans tend towards gop due to anti socialism bias.... There was faint hope that Biden would take FL and it'd be over, but that looks done now

Trump is an absolute twat, but it’s either wilful ignorance or plain old lying if you say there’s no anti Trump bias, or general left wing bias from the mainstream media. It’s just the world we live in at the moment. It goes in cycles. Being woke is the flavour of the month and those who shout the loudest get pandered to the most.

It's looking like that. Florida has just gone 1/33 Republican win. One Trump needs and will get if we believe the betting.

It pretty much goes like this with Florida this election.

Dems gain it: Biden will win election.
Reps gain it: Trump could win election.

The demos there don't exist elsewhere in the country, so it's always an outlier.

It takes days to get a result in the US election and we were only six posts in before someone managed to drag up Brexit.

Make the most of it, it’s unlikely to make it past noon.

If the Democrats had put up a clean, slick young gunslinger last time instead of Hillary they'd have won, more so this time. They got the formula right with Obama then f**ked up their own model twice, Biden is the wrong man.

Remember Dumbocrat Obama trying to 'influence' (bully) us over Brexit by warning us that we would be back of the queue for a trade deal if we had the audacity to vote to leave the EU?

No idea what the Republicans/Trump would offer, but the Dumbocrats have anti British sentiment in their veins (Kennedeys, Pelosi etc)

Shamefully anti Trump biased reporting from the BBC's Jon Sopel has no doubt swayed the younger and gullible viewers this side of the pond who have been subjected to his nightly bile-filled rants.

Two very poor candidates, just like we had at the last election.

May the least **** man win.

Surely the gun wielding, second amendment spluttering, freedom and independence spouting republicans would be far more anti British?

There's about 320 million in America, and they have to chose between these two for president. Shakes head and walks away.

I was predicting a Trump win a few weeks ago to friends, even thought about putting money on it.

Biden just likes having an excuse to travel around the US using donated money, sniffing women and children and rambling incoherently in front of massed crowds.

I hope I live to a good age so I can do that.

No, I'd expect Republicans to give us credit for exercising our freedom and independence outside the EU where Biden values liberal federations like the EU who protect and nurse small countries like his beloved Ireland and actually takes the anti British stance. Biden Out.

Which part of MAGA applies to us?
Trump will bully, lie to and trample all over any country that crosses his path, ESPECIALLY one that comes cap in hand. He must be salivating at the thought of it!

I'm pretty certain nobody outside of Trump's family and the Republican party have ever labelled Trump as intelligent.

Well, at least Trump hasn't mixed his granddaughter up with his dead son like Sleepy Joe did last night.
