Well it's not really bollocks then is it. There are military occupations in other parts of the world, but very few where you see systematic and decades long oppression of the native population and continued land grab whilst being supported, armed and financed by the supposed democratic free world.
You have other situations like Russia's annexing of the Crimea in Ukraine, where the West cry foul and tell the world how wrong it is. But stop short of actually going to war with Russia over it. Then you have situations like Iraq/Kuwait where the West's oil supplies were directly affected and they cooked up all sorts of stories to go to war over it.
I spent a bit of time in Western Sahara, Mauritania some years ago. It is 'disputed' territory, with both Mauritania and Morocco claiming it. But nobody gives a ****, because it's largely just a desert with no real strategic importance.
