From my perspective the senate race is a loss whoever wins. I usually am against one party controlling both houses and the presidency, I believe in balance and moderation, even in politics.
So normally, I'd be hoping Republicans win to restore some balance between the parties... especially since one of the democrat senator candidates is a baptist minister (I've never known a large baptist megachurch in the US that wasn't corrupt).
Both republican candidates have drunk the Trump kool-aid though and have backed his conspiracy theories and plans to bypass democracy. No way I can support that... Democracy comes before all other regular politics. Two years, and there is another vote. Once you overturn democracy for fascism there is no guarantee when things will return.
So c'mon democrats
