Does it really take this long to count votes?

Add this to the many things we do better in the UK.
They actually have a bunch of rules in different states to **** things up and drag them out. It's stupid.
The rules aren't about accuracy, speed or fairness, but about perception and narratives.

because fraud, dead people, etc...

The pundits on both sides over there are all saying that there's no concession coming any time soon.
I doubt he'll ever concede, personally.

No chance he’s going to concede - ever. He doesn’t have to anyway, it’s irrelevant to the process, it’s merely accepted good grace.

He’ll maintain he won that election to his dying day. As his narcissism won’t allow him to admit the failure.

I was very confused when they were counting and the pundits were saying its very important each candidate make speeches and show a perception of strength.

Why?

The people have voted, will the perception somehow bring out another vote? Why do some states get called, like Florida were Al Gore actually won years ago, before they've even finished counting?

Its an utterly **** system.

Oh well, the orange racist can console himself that he’s going to break an impressive record today.

As he’ll be the first ever US President to lose the popular vote in 2 elections. <applause>

A statement was just released from the Trump campaign, as projections show Biden pulling ahead in the swing state of Pennsylvania. If Biden takes Pennsylvania, he will win the presidency.

“This election is not over," says campaign lawyer Matt Morgan.

"The false projection of Joe Biden as the winner is based on results in four states that are far from final."

He claims without evidence that ballots in Georgia were "improperly harvested" and that in Pennsylvania election observers were not given "meaningful access" to counting, despite a judge's order allowing them further access yesterday.

Morgan also disputes that Arizona will go to Biden, as several news networks have projected, and claims that "thousands" of ballots were cast improperly in Nevada.

"Biden is relying on these states for his phony claim on the White House, but once the election is final, President Trump will be re-elected,” he concluded.

There has been no evidence of widespread voter fraud, and the Trump campaign has offered no evidence of these claims.
If you had any decency surely you'd be embarrassed with the going's on in your camp and walk away.

Its hypocritical on the face of things but, ultimately the decisions made by Formula 1 have little to do with decisions made by the Premier League.

I've gotten so disinterested in the Saudi bid that I'm not even sure why it was rejected anymore and if it's true of not.

It is what it is. The premier league is ****ed anyway

Florida had over 10 million, I think. It took them hours to knock it off.
Different rules in different states !
Some states you had to have your vote in on or before the election day .
Other states it had to have post mark by election date .

They should just have a king imo

I know someone who'll take the job <whistle>

True , but IMHO it is disgusting that any sport would have anything to do with any of them ( And Bahrain GP ) . Anyway I will shut up now :-)

Georgia's going to go to a recount. They just had another batch of votes and Biden gained 483 more.
That puts it at 2,450,117 to 2,448,538, a difference of only 1,579.
Something like 12,000 left and 5m people are split by an Accrington Stanley crowd.

That a Jon Snow special, I could see him using that on election night next time round.
