Have you seen the full George Floyd video? He was saying he couldn't breathe the whole time. That's why he didn't want to get in the car. The police offered to open the window but he kicked off.
I'm not trying to justify what the cop did but it isn't as clear cut when you see the full video.

I said it wasn't racial because his girlfriend called the police. It wasn't a targeted arrest.
He did have an outstanding warrant so was liable to be arrested.

All of which means nothing. You have literally no idea what went through that coppers mind as he shot the fella 7 times.

It's easy to judge with hindsight but they have to make split second decisions.
It's normal for people to have guns, it's not a nice place to be a cop.
Of course there's bad ones and good ones who make bad decisions. It's a tough job.

The police authorities have known for a long time that uneducated inexperienced officers are more likely to be involved in violent arrests than educated or experienced cops yet they still employ oiks and let them carry guns.
