Putin is just unpopular in Britain, that doesn't mean he's a dictator.

I won't even be baited into a debate on the subject as it's so unbelievably bias and ridiculous that it won't go anywhere. Putin's regularly killing of all political opponents both large and minuscule is becoming so regular that it doesn't even raise eyebrows anymore.

As Britain is the 51st state I can understand why the actions of our elected president would mean more to us than the actual dictator on our continent who regularly intervenes in elections and assassinates people on home soil.

I don't see it as a choice between one or the other - that just because one is, the other can't be.

I only quoted the sum total of your argument as to why Trump couldn't be classed as a dictator.

I doubt the term dictator used earlier by brb was in the traditional sense of the word for Trump, more like that he behaves in a dictatorial manner.

America is ****ing ridiculous.

The Republicans are assholes, just complete and total assholes, they come across as aloof, uncaring twats, because they are aloof, uncaring twats. The fact that they let an orange TV reality star come in and take the role as their candidate in the primary was hilarious, especially a egomaniac ****tard Twitter Troll like Trump.
Because thats what you want from your commander in chief, to see him at 3am on Twitter calling Rose O'Donnell an ugly dog. Even putting aside the "Pussy grabbing" comment and the endless salivation when talking about his own daughter, the guy is a clueless ****. His one redeeming feature during his campaign was his stance on the middle east and the promise of pulling out, and he ****ed that up royally, and let Putin sort it the **** out. Didnt look good at all.

The Democrats are just as bad, they are like the dads who think they are cool, Hillary prancing around on stage with Beyonce and Jay Z like a ****ing idiot.
I could have thought of about half a dozen DNC candidates who I would have picked over Joe "You aint black if you dont vote for me so...wait which one of these ladies is my wife" Biden. He is basically Barack Obama but older, white and with a degenerative Brain disease. And seeing as Obama did **** all for the minorities who voted him in, I doubt Sleepy Joe will fare much better, especially considering that he probably wont remember his own name in 12 months.

I would have picked Tulsi Gabbard personally, she seems to know her ****, but never mind, you keep pushing your preferred corporate candidate DNC, and see how well it is received. If Joe wins, I would put money on Kamala Harris being President inside of two years and Joe steps down due to health issues....maybe that was the DNC's plan all along.

Spot on. A plague on both their houses. I do think the fact we've ended up with these two as "the best" america can offer is more symptomatic of their whole electoral system that is geared towards the most shallow and PR savvy candidates rising to the very top.

Kamala Harris ending up president might not be such a bad thing. I don't know enough about her but she might actually be different to everyone who's gone before in the last 40 years. I doubt it, but it's worth a shot.

The sadist in me wants Trump to win again, just so I get some awesome content to watch on Youtube as people cry, complain and shriek like entitled ****tards and completely overreact to him winning, just like last time.

The realist in me says that the DNC have gotten their tactic spot on, they know Trump would run rings around Joe in any sort of debate, not because of any acumen on Trumps side, but because Joe generally stammers like a ****ing idiot, then ends up calling his opponent out for a straightener, its hilarious. Keeping the economy closed and forcing the cancellations of all the public appearances gives people less of an opportunity to realise how ****ing dense Biden is, and gives them time to stoke their (somewhat deserved) hatred of Trump.

I think the polls will swing back slightly towards Trump when the election coverage heats up, because Joe is useless, but I dont think it will be enough this time. Trump makes it very hard to vote for him with his narcissistic attitude and his bullshit. And he needs to stay the **** away from Twitter, its a tool for clueless ****tards. In fact the US should write it in to their constitution as an amendment, that anyone elected President is banned from Twitter.

That wasn't the argument at all, you missed the point completely. I even went back to see how I typed it to see if it could be confused as me saying that, and it can't be. I in fact even said just because he's unpopular doesn't mean he's a dictator. Not that he can't be a dictator because he's unpopular.

Trump isn't a dictator, because he isn't. He's confined within the US legal system, as Boris Johnson is confined within the British one. If the Republicans weren't legally voted into the Senate then he would have been impeached by the courts.

Putin regularly changes the Russian legal system depending on how much it gets in his way. He's a dictator.

I wasn't quoting brb, I was quoting another person.

It's a democratic country, if he has enough support he can run as a candidate. The democrats had over 20 candidates in the primary, the fact that people voted for Trump doesn't mean that the Republican Party are to blame directly.

The Republican Party establishment came out many, many times and stated that Trump was a terrible candidate, it was only upon realising he had a massive support base in working class Americans (the support base that got Obama elected) that they joined the Trump train as it was obviously on route directly to the White House.

The Democrats in their field of 20 candidates had some young progressive people that were great. It was the people who chose poorly.

I've said it on another thread and got **** for it, but the strongest bloc of votes in the democratic party is the black vote, they got Obama in through the primary, Hilary and now Biden. But while the Black vote is massive in Democratic membership they're a massive minority nationwide in the US and therefore their opinions do not translate nationally.

The most important votes in America is the working class most of which are white, Obama demonstrated as did Trump, as long as your priority is change and jobs you will often get their vote and win. They're not interested in the bullshit, what they care about is their wages and standards of living. Cutting through all the crap like the "wall with Mexico" what Trump consistently focused on was jobs, he still does that now, jobs jobs jobs. It's what wins.

I stand corrected I meant to say Bigy not brb.

The only time Trump is confined within the U.S. legal system is when it comes to the election (and some are beginning to question whether he'll conform to that either if he loses). At all other times during his presidency itself he's shown time and again the law means very little and tbf he's right in that the system has been slow, even non-existent at times to stop him. He holds little or no regard for due process, U.S. legislature or even the consensus of his own political party. In that sense he is dictatorial.

Putin may be worse but I'm not comparing the two. That argument is just a deflection imo. That because falling out of a plane at 30,000 feet will kill you jumping off the grand canyon aint so bad. Trump is a prize **** is alls I'm saying. He has zero redeeming qualities as a leader, especially a U.S. president.

No, he most certainly isn't. Vladimir Putin is a dictator, Alexander Lukashenko is a dictator.

Donald Trump is just unpopular in Britain, that doesn't mean he's a dictator.

Before you accuse me of supporting Trump please see my previous comments on him.

He's a dictator alright.Does what he wants and no one will stop him.Fires his staff regularly if they don't do his bidding. I live in the USA.The bastard's a dictator!

I hate Trump, but i dont like clouding things in bullshit rhetoric.

For me, saying he's a **** President is enough, if we start labelling everyone we dislike a dictator it loses all meaning.

Anyway, i dont want to talk politics Im going for a ****

What shocked me, was him turning the home guard on his own citizens. I tried to relate some empathy to it, in the sense of trying to work out what was going through his mind by doing that.

The best I could come up with, is similar to people damaging the Churchill statue, and Boris sending in troops to deal with it, extreme by any level of the imagination. Not saying that some of the rioting shouldn't have been quelled in other states, but this was Washington DC, the presidential homeland.

In fact if Trump had done nothing, and they had trashed the White House, as he was helicoptered out of there, that would have played in Trumps favour. Because it would have shown the thugs for what 'some' of them were and probably have won him votes.

Sadly the day he let his guards attack his own people, made him no better, than North Korea, China or Russia. It was like watching democracy fall apart on your tv screens, and a new era of dictatorship unfold, in the so called land of the free.

I'm hunting for porn first!

To be fair to him, until Covid he was actually doing great on the job side of things, but he completely ****ed up Covid and his over eagerness to forget about Covid and get back to normal looked horrible. He just is a generally horrible person to be honest, makes my skin crawl.
I am not a fan of "progressives" too much, they tend to be too idealistic and living in cloud cuckoo land, like that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that the 17 year old Uni students all jerk off to.

Both parties need to radically change their image. One party is just seen as uncaring, unsympathetic assholes. While the other is seen as corrupt and clueless.
And they both earned those badges.

Lol I was watching the Magician Penn from Penn and Teller talking about Trump and he is an odd ball.

He said when they filmed the Apprentice you'd sit in the studio for HOURS listening to Trump ramble on. They take the ramble, cut it down, and that goes into the show.

He said hes a strange person, he takes absolutely no joy in music, he only talks about himself and is instantly bored if people give input.

He is a classic narcassist.

But the music thing, wtf, you cant enjoy music at all? Weird.
