Obviously, for the regular American on the street a trump loss is terrible.
I have heard and read a lot on the process from the point of votes being cast, to being sealed, how this is witnessed and signed off by independent adjudicators, electronically tagged, then transfered to counting centres, the breaking of the seals witnessed, and the actual counting being witnessed by independent adjudicators. AND at every step of the way, both Democrat and Republicans lawyers/representatives are allowed to be present to witness and if need be challenge any impropriety and/or any improper vote. At that point the vote is halted by the "challenger" via a red flag and investigated.
This makes the process pretty air tight imo but more importantly if anyone is going to claim fraud they would do it during the process outlined above. I don't see why or on what grounds they would do so afterwards.
Tbh I think it only works for crimes he’s been accused of, and I’m not sure it covers the IRS either. What he described, was much what i would have expected to happen my postal ballot vote that I make in the UK. Like I say the only downside, is nothing fraudulent can be matched back afterwards, but they should still have all the detached ids, to cover that side of things.
You can be pardoned very broadly. Nixon was pardoned for everything he did as President by Ford, for example.
