Are we all ready for the teal election to settle power in the USA in January. The senate is the key and it looks like that will be 50 to 48 Republican, Georgia is the key there are two seat up there one is a special election, like a by election here, the other is the normal election. To win in that state you must get 50% of the vote. The special election was never going to see anybody get close to 50% as each party puts up more than one candidate and the top two run off. The normal election has a third party candidate and the sitting republican has just seen his vote fall to 49.98% The rest of the votes being counted are in mainly democratic counties , so he won’t get back over 50%. So this will go to a run off as well. so it looks like we will be back again in two months to sort out the real power. If the Democrats win both of the seats that will be 50/50 and the Vice President has the casting vote. Now that will be an election in which your vote really counts. How much money will be spent by both parties will be obscene.
In a way it is as it is unusual for the President not to win the popular vote, so the VP having the casting vote means that the winner of the popular vote holds the balance of power. I think that there have only been three examples of the President winning the electoral college but not the popular vote. Another little know rule is that if the vote in the electoral college is tied 269 to 269, the House of Representatives elects the a President from the two candidates and the second placed one becomes VP. So if that happened this year (I don’t think it can, unless the electors in the electoral college go native and don’t vote the way their state voted, the college is made up of real electors sent from each state and they can vote how they want. In practice they are appointed by the winning party in that state and they vote with that party but they don’t have to) You could have Biden as President and Trump as VP. That would be real dysfunctional government.
If I had evidence of voting fraud relating to thousands of mail-in ballots I wouldn't be saying 'Go and ask such and such because they won't give us the answers!" what I would be doing is show the media the evidence I already had. Instead, all they have done (lead by the goon with no name) is sow doubt and step back. What seemed really odd to me is that rather than showing righteous indignity, they all just seemed to be right on the verge of breaking down in tears and seemed not to want to be there at all.
Trump and his family entourage now trying to bully Republican senators into backing up their baseless claims. Its not working as the majority, I would guess, want to see him gone. it gives them four years to find a better Republican candidate, while controlling the Senate and negating Bidens ability to enact significant change, Only Linday Graham has belatedly 'backed' him, and those two deserve each other.
Republican supporter on the radio this morning democrats have been doing this that and the other to falsify votes - "join your local militia"
Looks like Joe Biden will end up beating Donald Trump by 7-8million votes in the race to The White House. Trump should be mocked and booed if he is seen in public again. He recently claimed if he lost the election to Sleepy Joe that he will not live in the USA, he'd be welcome in Russia or North Korea, both their leaders have a similar mindset to governance. If he turns up in Scotchie land I hope the Jocks tell him to F U C K O F F Also looks like the President-elect won't control the Senate so it's up to the Republican House Leader Mitch McConnell as to whether he will do what is right for America or just play party politics.
What a scaremongering piece of t::rd this bloke is. He says it’s fraud for folk who left Nevada (looking for work - covid) to continue to vote in Nevada. ls he for real. You can leave the country and vote - US citizens have that right (as do many other countries). If l know that - he will know that - he is just stoking the fire - and hoping for guns on the streets.
Yeah, he's for real. If you have moved from the state for 30 days or longer you're no longer able to vote there.
That is not correct. The rules are here on the Nevada Secretary of State government site, with points 3 & 6 being most relevant: be a citizen of the United States have attained the age of 18 years on the date of the next election have continuously resided in the State of Nevada, in your county, at least 30 days and in your precinct at least 10 days before the next election not currently be serving a term of imprisonment for a felony conviction not be determined by a court of law to be mentally incompetent claim no other place as your legal residence
Yes, that's correct. I hadn't watched the video again and I got it wrong. The guy on the video did state that, it was myself that misinterpreted it
