I just look at it like this mate, people going to moan because it's what people do.

I don't mean that disrespectfully, it's just reality - humans don't like change. It had to happen whether we like it or not, and no amount of warning was going to change that and you just can't please all people all the time.

Tbph it had been so long since a website update, I was beginning to wonder if Mick was waiting for the server to bite the dust and we all vanish into cyber space, never to be seen again!

Unfortunately for everyone, we all have to tolerate one another for a few extra years now. <laugh>

Mick's done loads of work on functionality taking on board everyones preferences, for example from round avatars to square avatars lol....I tell yer it does make me laugh but that's just my humour, I'm honestly not being rude, it's just me.

I think the similar thread function has also disappeared and loads of other stuff that I've got too bored to remember.

Thanks anyway Welshie, and yes the plan was on the mod board for a few days, but to also be fair to the mods, lots of them just get on with it and probably forget the mod board is there sometimes, which is fair enough tbph and I love that type of mod.

I'm actually feeling a sense of normality today believe it or not and we all have Mick to thank for that, not me, I'm just the punch ball. ;)

It still tickles me how you rocked up after the mayhem had calmed down. It's the way to be for sure. When everyone else is losing their head, do things Spurly's way and have a spliff.

When I first logged on yesterday I thought I had gone back 30 years, if you were starting something new to be used by people who had no computer knowledge this is what would have been produced (maybe that was the intention) but the huge boxes would make it almost impossible to use on a small devise, I have a 28" computer screen so I can see most of the layout anyway, if the boxes were much smaller or linked to a single word like in the original version it would be easier to navigate, but apart from that it does seem easier use

Must admit I wasn't expecting the site to be ever updated again. I just assumed it was going to be left to die.

I do plan on making a long list of mundane complaints on my train to Norwich tomorrow though.

Btw @Welshie I also mentioned it on the Burley Thread something like the day before.

But I knew they just wanted to fill their day with the poking stick, so I stayed stumm <laugh>
 
I've noticed even in private messaging it has the likes, can't remember that on the old one. Good for acknowledgment of your PM having been read.
