I announced the changes to moderators and admin and had 2 days of feedback, but I needed to move fast as I'm off work this week and won't have time to react during office hours next week. The upgrade needed to happen and is way too long overdue (because it was extremely difficult with all the customisations that were done with the previous version - and even just updating the data for 18 million posts took 8 hours...)

Thanks Mick, hope things are going OK

I don't seem to have access to the mods forum Mick so I didn't see it. Can that be arranged?

I'm sure overall it will prove to be better but at present there are a couple of annoying things
1. The simple navigation between selected forums (eg mine are Horse Racing and Wycombe) seems to have disappeared and I have to go through the whole list of forums to move from one to the other. I could probably solve that by managing the Watched Forums but it's not allowing me to select forums to watch
2. Displaying a list of posts I have no interest in I find clutters up my screen. Would be good if there was an option to hide these
3. When I went to post a new thread it is dispalying what it thinks might be similar threads and I had difficulty getting rid of it

That was after about 5 mins <laugh>

No doubt there will be some who find these useful so maybe there are options to personalise what we see?

@Mick @brb I know I've been nagging for like 5 years+ but any chance one of you could drop the middle section of this into the banner to replace the current cut off one on the Toon board? If you guide me to how, I'll buy you a couple of pints if you can action too as a thankyou.
