Seen the replay and its Vidic at fault.
Also how was Hangaland not sent off? Was a yellow every day of the week to be fair.

it was Gea's fault tbh .. he miss timed it or may be didn't want to punch it at last second so don't hit Vidic ...
but definitely his mistakes not Vidic
Hangaland 2nd yellow.. hmm seen refs give a 2nd chance.. it is more a 50-50 ..

No its quite clearly vidic who makes the error.
Look again, vidic is behind his man which means he is never going to be able to clear it away so De gea has to come. he wasnt convincing but had Vidic been in front of his man as you would expect then De Gea doesnt even need to be involved.
I suppose we could say Vidic's error caused De Gea to make an error![]()
After watching the replay, I disagree. It looks like De Gea calls for it and Vidic attempts to move out of the way and then De Gea gets pushed out of the way by Petric. Once Vidic and De Gea can get used to communicating I think we'll be ok. Vidic was spoiled with Van Der Saar at the back, dude was great at commanding and organizing the back 4.
