Macron - The French don't like him, The Italians don't like him and now the UK Brexit Secretary has accused him of unsavoury political posturing and tactics.

He is fast running out of friends.

If I had a friend in Raab, I would be seriously worried. Why would the leader of a country take any notice of the PMs tea boy?

I'm not sure anybody takes any notice of Macron anymore, his federalist ideas now fall on deaf ears. His party will be beaten by the far right in next years European elections. He is a busted flush. Nobody thought another French President could be more unpopular than Hollande, didn't take long to prove that one wrong.

Strange that you don't want to talk about the party you pay to support. Are they an embarrassment to you already?

The Tories remain the only serious option for UK government, this is well reflected in the current polls. The LP is in the middle of a civil war and the LibDems are so rare they could become collectors items. We are still waiting for the rise of your long predicted new political party. Is it totally secret?

Are you sure you don't wish to be seen as having any views on your party conference?

The grassroots of the Tory Party showed today their correct dislike of May's poor Chequers stance. Boris clearly explained why the Robbin's plan will not be supported in parliament. I much preferred spending today watching my roof tiles and under floor heating being fitted rather than attending conference. I'm sure May will see sense after the jamboree and change tack.

Do you have a date for your new party's inauguration?

You are probably right that she will change tack, but not in the way that you want. I thought you had discarded Boris in favour of someone from an even earlier age. You shouldn't change your mind as it is not democratic you know.

There is an abundance of talent in the Tory Party with immense experience because the Tories have been in power so long. It is now obvious the country needs a proper Brexiteer with vision and confidence to lead the country rather than remainer May who is being timidly led by a few other reluctant and misguided second raters.

Do you not want to discuss your mysterious political party?

Apparently the Conservative Party received twice as much money from dead supporters (legacy payments) last year as from living members. Thus making them, officially, the 'zombie' party of the UK - as if we didn't know that anyway. Do they still have enough members to fill a conference room these days ? Apparently with an average membership age of about 70 they must have real health and safety problems at conference time.

Don't forget the new young members like me that have joined recently :emoticon-0105-wink:

When was the last time 'the natural party of government' won a proper majority ? 1987 !

You do not have a majority for Brexit in Parliament SH, and you have never had a majority, or a mandate for hard Brexit, either in Parliament or outside of it. Whether you like it or not if Britain leaves they will be taken out by remainers. I know that some of you are hoping for a no deal situation, and are trying to sabotage everything to that effect. However, if you do not support any deal which TM comes back with then it will lead to a vote of no confidence, and a subsequent general election (The EU. would allow time for this event) which, in turn, may well mean no Brexit at all.

There has been a huge majority for Brexit in parliament since article 50 was passed. Your process of thought seems more like wishful thinking. There does not need to be a GE if the Tory leader was challenged and subsequently replaced. The LP will vote against any deal just to play politics, hoping for a GE. I suspect the Marx Brothers will be disappointed.

A majority may be paying lip service to the referendum result SH. but that does not mean they are for Brexit. Around 75% of those in Parliament were for remaining and you have to live with that fact. It means that if Britain is taken out of the EU. it will be done so by people who are honouring the referendum result, and nothing more. If you don't accept this and require a 'takeover' of the government by a genuine hard Brexit minority then this has neither a mandate, nor the numbers to do so. I also don't have the faintest idea what this has to do with the Marx Brothers.

Comrade Corbyn and his sidekick 'little red book' McDonnell.
