What a shambles. The government loses every time now. Corbyn offers an olive branch, and May shakes her head. Farage believes that the UK will still be in the UK to fight the EU elections. My vote in the UK has been renewed. :emoticon-0100-smile
I was tempted to stand for the laugh but my job precludes me from doing so. You, Yorkie and Fez plus a few others should give it a crack <devil>

Think I am getting a bit long in the tooth for that Dan. I now see my role as a Ken Clarke figure trying to educate and save our lost soul. Despite being very much to the right of some on here, I would wager we could sort things out far quicker than this pathetic natural party of government.

Just what your mate Rees smogg has said.. And five minutes after a panel of commentators have said the will of parliament always prevails in these matters... Face the facts

Fortunately we have Rees Mogg that knows the law much better than commentators, no deal is still very much a possibility.

You are hanging by a thread. Parliament does not want nor does the EU.. So won't happen.
Another pipe dream[emoji99]

Parliament has already voted to leave without a deal unless one has been agreed. This is currently the legal position. The EU's opinion is not for consideration.

Is this the same EU who said last night that if we don't have a deal by exit day then the default position is no deal? I think its opinion is very much to be considered.

Labour has instructed it's MPs to vote against a second referendum, has common sense broken out?
Labour has done nothing of the sort SH. which you well know so why come on here fabricating your own truth ? They have instructed their members to abstain to the Wollaston amendment which calls for an extension to allow time for a second referendum. If they voted for this it would knock out the Benn amendment giving control over Brexit proceedings to Parliament. Labour is still open to a second referendum - as you will soon know, but is saying that the timing is not right.

Actually I'm having problems keeping touch with all these amendments, which often say the same thing in a different way, and often cancel each other out anyway. I think the only reason they are having so many is for the exercise of getting up and moving around combatting stiffness of the joints.

The government has been forced into applying to the EU to delay Brexit. There is no certainty that is what she will be offered , it could be for a 3 month period , a 4 year period, or not at all. The EU are fed up this problem, but there is still no indication of what the UK wants, still just what they don't want. Just like the country as a whole, totally split.
