League of Nations: it’s like a pre-cursor to the United Nations. Set up in the 1920s to ensure future world peace by nurturing a state of tolerance and understanding amongst its member countries.

It kinda fell apart when the Germans decided that the mid-decades of the Twentieth Century should put peace, love and understanding on the back burner for a bit.

Anyway, this football malarkey is connected to this in some non-defined way.

We play Spain tomorrow. Debuts for Ernest Hemingway and Laurie Lee by all accounts.

Some cracking games last night.

Latvia 0 Andorra 0 the standout for me.

Gibraltar came close anarl. Lost to Macedonia by a couple of goals.
