Any one watching this tournament, last nights performance by Poland against the host nation was fantastic, they have now won twice against the odds with Charlton loanee, full back Bielic scoring in both games. England in sharp contrast to Poland, demonstrated how to throw a game away from a winning position, Sunderland style. Both games being very enjoyable to watch, it really is an advert for the game, unlike the so called World Cup taking place somewhere else.

I’ve been watching, some players about.

Poland was a masterclass, they got blitzed start to finish but did what they knew they were good at and fair play to them.

Actually thought England were excellent until the red, Foden is going to be a massive player for the national team, incredible feet.

Agreed. Rapid fire games. That Pellegrino for Italy CM looks absolutely superb.

The real "New Pirlo" not the ginger one <laugh>.
What about those two German giants at the back looked more like a back four, Germany also looked very impressive going forward, midfield and strikers a final of Italy and Germany would be interesting..

They do. The pace they have on the break is insane. Some proper players in there.

Watching England now and Romania are quality going forward.

Aye, Croatia don’t seem to have anyone coming through at all, may be the end of them being a top nation.

The England game was a great watch to be fair, could have been 12-12. Why he started without Sessegnon, Foden and Abraham I’ll never know.

Defence was appaling, really poor again the CBs, potential problem area for us next few years.

The Germans looked human last night and Austria shaded the game imo. But those German center backs are awesome especially Tah, whose passing out of defence, long and short is worth the watch alone, he is right up there with the best. we have a "Coventry" situation tonight, this is a flaw in the set up which has so far given us value for money in every sense, unlike the BBC, who have continued to promote this "World Cup" for all its worth, or not.

Tah is an absolute monster of a CB, already well established he’s gonna go to the top that lad.

My thoughts were Germany took it easy as they knew they were sound, they still with a bit of patience could have been through a few times but overplayed.

    They are very impressive.

Some strike for the goal, what a tournament Waldschmidt is having, scores 5 goals in 30 games for his club this season then rattles in 5 in 3 games for his country, Germans eh.

Aye, he wasn’t rated at Hamburg, they have Arp who’s supposedly better, but a tournament can make a player.

It’s been a great watch as a tournament.

Watched Spain demolish France with a brilliant display led by Fabian Ruiz the player of the tournament for me, the final should be some game. Germany will have a game plan to stop Spain's flow but can they do it, some ask.

The U21 Final, Spain 2 - Germany 1, breathtaking play by Spain won this game of real quality, but It might have been a different story if the referee had reduced Spain to 10, as he did to England in their opening game, for a far far less an offence than the one he chose to ignore last night.

Spain’s midfield was magnificent through the tournament I thought, looks like they are going to be a real side again over next few years.

They played with such freedom, even at 2-0 hitting the bar in one move before before the Germans pulled a goal back and might have taken the game into extra time, but Spain survived, and football won the day imo.
