On the subject of goals scored from distance, didn’t the Saints defence stand off and let Shelley bury one from 25/30 yards, when Swansea visited a few seasons back?
Just hope that they are aware of the damage he can cause, when he turns up with Newcastle, at the weekend.

Judging by the approx. 5000 times they let Coutinho cut in and bend one in with his right foot from 25 yards I don't think we do

That was priceless! Utter disbelief that the ball hadn’t thundered into the net. You’d think he’d know by now!
 
How the **** are we not either in the Championship or rooted to the bottom of the league? 5 wins in 40 league games, pretty much one home win in a year. Premier League so bad <laugh>
