I have a very simple view on Lallana. He's a twat.

I don't think he's a twat because he left Saints, I just think he's a twat. Whilst he played for us, I had rose tinted spectacles on and couldn't see him for what he is. Now I've removed those spectacles and I can see clearly that he is a 100% nob-head. The silly little run, the squeaky voice, the stupid beard, the moaning and whining at referees, the false badge-kissing, the obviously fake interviews pledging his undying love for the Saints. He's a twat, it's as simple as that.

He'll be booed, he has added to the discontent with his comments about Clyne & Chambers. His high opinion of himself might well block it out, or he'll be safely on the bench.
I expect he'll heat things up in the build up by telling everyone how hard done by he is. <grr>
 
The thing that annoys me is the way he brushes back his hair constantly during the game. But I should probably just get over it.

It's just crossed my mind again how long that saying is going to last. Those sumptuous tooled leather seats are a million miles away from a painted/varnished wooden bench, possibly even with a few splinters evident, from want of maintenance. I suppose there just isn't a more concise way of saying that a player has been named as a substitute.

Adam on leather doesn't quite say the right things, does it..?
