tv coverage on Thursday

Really pissed off that nobody wanted to film this considering all the **** U17s games etc. that you can always get streams for

It's an absolute shambles if there isn't a single TV camera there.

However it kind of sums up City perfectly. It's our biggest day, almost a thousand of our fans made the effort to go to Zilina yet no one outside of Hull gives enough of a **** to broadcast it even ahead of all the crap that's normally on there.
 
They've said that they'll be showing highlights on look north later so must be a camera. Radio humberside working fine in Spain via Internet.

What's the likely tv audience though? 50k in Hull and a couple of hundred thousand more across the country?

Bet it's just one of them really poor angle ones like you get at places like Ferriby.

Sky and BT in particular have absolute crap on 90% of the time. I know they show a lot if live games but there can't be that many people tuning in for poker, greyhounds etc which is on more often than live football. Any live football at this level surely has to be more attractive than the fillers they normally have on.

Sky don't have the rights. Not sure about BT. Perhaps they expect most sport audience share to go to the Commonwealth games?

Seems no one has the rights. If it was a licensing issue I'd be more understanding, but the problem is absolutely no one wants it!

Fairly sure either BT or ITV already have the rights to every Europa game (not sure which) but didn't bother sending anyone, it's the Slovakian TV station who decided the game wasn't worth £4k which is actually less than they pay for league games

I'm not singling anyone out, they're all silly ****s. The Slovakian media and our lot.

Official statement of AS Trencin: The club was willing to sell the tv rights to the Slovakian Television for the amount of 5000 euros (lower as usual and normal League game, enough to cover costs), but the Slovaniak TV did only want the rights for free. As of that result there's no deal yet and probably there won't be any signal, unless one of the teams decides to start an own stream. But chances are really low for that...
