Amen......Lets hope we can attract a couple of those Turkish players. However, I bet half of them couldn't do it on a cold Tuesday night in Stoke.Think that was very much what Acun wants from us and what he hopes the new gaffer will bring

Junior was at this one and his mates iWatch sounded an alarm to warn him that the environmental sound had exceeded 90 decibels and could damage his hearing![]()

Good job he doesn’t go to NFL games. Think the highest at our version of football was around 130 at a not particularly big stadium in Turkey which had no roof on 3 of the stadium. Wonder what the highest is in the MKM.

The microphone and software in the phone is unlikely to be precise, and 'decibel' on it's own is pretty much a meaningless value anyway. It depends on a lot of other factors such as averaging period, sound power, sound pressure...
Those American ones are official ones, not taken on someone’s phone.
All kicked off last night with the Turkish and Georgian fan inside the stadium.

If it's anything like the other similar ones I've seen, they were not done in a way that's all that credible. It's like the nonsense ones that claimed Stoke were the loudest.

Knowing Americans it will be done as part of checking they can’t be sued for damaging someone’s hearing.![]()
They've ****ed up big style if that's the case. Posting a claim of 130 dB is proof enough it's a pile of bollocks. That's the threshold for pain, depending what they think they're representing, which is impossible to know from just 'decibel'.
I'm surprised the NFL stadiums are so loud.
I've been to quite a few NFL games in various stadiums with clients and I've never thought they were particularly loud. I certainly don't remember any singing for chanting.
130db would be like standing literally right next to a jet engine as its fully powered up
Plus decibels are exponential
130db is like hundreds of of times louder than 100
