Ford Heath; the middle of nowhere
So, a major clash in the race for the top three. Last time we came here, we lost 2-0. Time before *face twitches* we lost 5-0, although Grandison did his best to kill Robinson. The twat.

Torquay are the division's form team, and it'll be a real test. I don't have a good feeling about this one, and I'm really, really tired so I cannot be bothered to write any more. Sorry.

the gulls are on a big run of wins but are games ahead of others. i take the shrews defence to hold the gulls and i reckon town will win 2-0 collins, wroe. it is games like this that are 6 pointer games if we want promo
 
it is worth noting the gulls are unbeaten since the 26.12.11, apart from winning at home to swindon all their wins have been against the nether regions of the bargain basement L2.

results gulls 1 cobblers 0, gulls 1 daggers o, morecambe 1 gulls 2, argyle 1 gulls 2, gulls o oxon o gulls 1 swindon. i suspect the gulls are in a false position and the shrews may want to illustrate this, er hopefully, and i certainly do not count the gulls as opposition in the promo race.

Beating the best team in the League is quite a big result to ignore! But I know what you mean, they looked woeful when we played them earlier in the season. As one bloke behind me commented after the game "they'll take points off plenty of teams, but I can't see them going up".
 
Plainmoor is somewhere we seem to hate going but with no game last week let's hope for a big following to get behind the boys. Collins will surely be relishing coming up against a Branston/Robertson-lite defence. I'm going to put my neck on the line by going for Torquay 0-1 Shrews (Supper Matty Richards, dun-dun-der) Atten 3600

or gulls gossip. new loanee angus macdonald ex reading has been brought in as cover for defenders brian saah and mark ellis, both of whom should be in the squad tomorrow. macdonald is 19 and a former england u19 international but is not likely to play tomorrow.

lanthorpe is being praised for gulls run of 35 points from 42 (mainly against flotsam and jetsam) he plays just in front of the back 4 and is dangerous in making action happen up front

uncle graham is referred to as a veteran manager, some veteran, i take the shrews to piss all over the gulls 2-0. but beware do not feed the gulls free kicks penalties or yellow or red cards and beware i say again beware lanthorpe.

martin ling has gone down the loan route to provide cover for his key players.

more gulls droppings.-- centre back mark ellis 23 is out of contract in the summer and martin ling is desperate for mark to sign up a new contract sometime soon. those pesky gulls can paint your car white in minutes, let us make sure we stay blue and amber.

other southwest news, if the shrews are promoted they may take exeter city's place. ominous noises are coming from st james park. personally i hope they stay up as shrews and exeter do well together, like visiting the conference!
 
This is a really tough one for us - can we maintain our improved form since the arrival of Mcalllister number 2? Our defence looked less than impressive at times against Hereford with Regan looking very shaky - understandable in terms of his long lay off but we need an improved showing from him tomorrow. On a good day we have the players to slay the jinx of Plainmoor but my natural pessimism tells me the best we can hope for is a point. I say a 1-1 draw with Ainsworth coming off the bench to equalise for us.
 
not only martin ling manager of month, but also mark ellis player of the month, and his contract up in the summer.
