i said i had a nagging doubt about today, i am really concerned about tuesdays result weather permitting. still well done hereford, cheltenham 1 point out of 6
A tad frustrating that we lost again. Still onwards and upwards to Tuesday night to 'inform' Brizzle!!
a rare loss for the shrews against a bogey team. if the result on tuesday goes against the shrews this may prove ominous. however i put todays defeat down to cold feet and hands. a slight criticism of uncle graham however. we went 1 down in 67th minute. then was the time for subs not 10 mins later. the gas, are they storming the league, i think we should be told
hats off to the gulls, you beat swindon and the shrews. i suspect you may be too good to be ignored. i know the gulls have won against 5 flotsam and jetsom clubs but swindon, that is quality my friend, and we now face another in form club on tuesday, the gas, who may be storming the league again!
sadly matster i forsee fortress greenhous being breached, as gas have won away at cheltenham drawn with crawley. i hope i am wrong. prove me wrong shrews
a section of torquay fans booed nicky wroe and at the end of the game booed him off and heckled him,i thought they were bang out of order,he was a good servant to us and all he did was move on to another club,he was visibly upset by it,shame on those gulls fans for that he deserved better treatment
never mind he is a good servant to the shrews, he is our speciality penalty taker. we do not mind booing and our players even shake hands with the opposition! good luck and keep your good run going. ps are you the only online gull, your site seems a tad empty.
thanks atcham jack, yep little old me the only gull representative on this site, why? i dont know but will endeavour to get more bodies on here, good luck for the rest of the season shrews, will pop on every now and then to see how your doing
My up-at-6, 500+ mile round trip on the supporters' bus was rewarded by one or two good moves but we got a nosebleed in the final third time and time again. First half we were useless, Torquay all over and should've been out of sight. Second half perked up but someone should have had the bottle to shoot from out of the box instead of just passing it and eventually the chance coming to nothing, and it was Nealo's fault entirely for the goal. Flapped at the cross, came sqwawking out to get in and then saw it looped over his head and scrambled in. Saying that he made some good saves to keep us hanging in. 4-3-3 didn't work as despite the three MFs Richards, Wroe and Macca playing well we were easily overrun. ANd why play Collins out wide when he's a number 9? Frustrating.
thanks manfeelings and well done for making the trip, where there many shrews there? as for loyal gull, if you can get some of your mates to upgrade from the bbc micros, commadore 64's and sinclairs you may get some company online, oh and i have found out to my cost you cannot get the internet on rolf harris stylophones, i expect the gas can, they are piss hot at those things, pity they cannot play good football, still matty h may be fit and is really up to date with information technology. he can even get the weather forcast out of his nearly new 1981 cassette recorder
It's a shame that happened as he was quite popular there. We always give 'nice' ex-players a warm wrlcome if they leave.
agreed matser,he was loyal to us,and left on good terms, all he is trying to do is better himself and earn a living, not only that have spoken to him a few times a very nice bloke as well. And a good player with it.As a small club with crappy gates we still have morons sadly, scott rendell was baited about the death of his child on his last visit to us with wycombe, unforgivible rubbish, some people have no morals or brains.Shrewsbury has been the best awayday i ever had,top notch ground, fans and staff,a good experience all round, and thats how it should be everywhere
