Mark Albrightons mother in law killed.

Tourists should never have been allowed to go on holiday there anyway, it's been a very dangerous area for a long time. Sad that it takes something like this before people's safety is made a priority over money.

RIP to them all.

The majority of the victims named so far are aged 50 to 80.

Mainly couples or family groups.

The retired. Parents and Grandparents.

Carers and hardworking, good people.

The cowardice of gunning them down on a tourist beach when they have nowhere to hide or no way of defending themselves is beyond belief.

To then justify it by calling the hotels dens of fornication and vice is odious in the extreme.

RIP to all who have lost their lives.

My daughter was in the resort and is only just getting on flight home now (Sunday night) but at least there safe and on way home. She was with thompsons and got very little contact with them. The rep visited sat lunch time and she was in the dark as well.

Watched a news report on the BBC covering it and they interviewed the attackers best mate.

He said that he was just a regular guy, a straight A student who enjoyed playing sports and socialising with friends. They had no idea of his radicalisation or where the attack came from, apparently he just picked up a gun and off he went, or so it seemed to those around him.

Makes you wonder what they're told that convinces them that killing innocent people suddenly becomes an acceptable thing to do.

Africa is almost becoming off limits for tourism - the main Northern countries of Morocco, Egypt and now Tunisia have all had trouble in recent years - Libya used to have adventure holidays to see Leptis Magna , but you wouldn't dream of going there now - then theres Gambia, risky - tours to Mali to see Dogons and Timbuktu - off limits - Kenya and Tanzania - either to climb Killie or beach holiday are becoming risky in places - I toured Rwanda about 10 years ago - I wouldn't dream of going there now - and South Africa - either Joburg for the Krueger or Cape Town is probably as good as it gets but still not without trouble - sure Ive missed some places out but probably one continent that really needs tourists and the fanatics are killing it

I recently said to a forum member that I wouldn't post on this subject, but I cannot let this go. Patty, one of the victims was a former student of mine and Claire Windass was the dear, gentle and much loved wife of my friend Jim. Although Claire was originally from Scunthorpe, I know that some of Jim's family and friends follow footy/city and therefore could be accessing this board. You are of course entitled to your opinion, but can I ask you (and via the mods) that given that yet more victims may well be local to Hull and Lincolnshire, that we show a little bit of sensitivity here. What happened over there wasn't a computer game. Of course, feel free to respond, but I won't be responding again on this issue.

Thank you
LT

My cousin was staying at the Riu Bellevue but got a taxi out of the hotel to go on an activity just a few moments before the shooting started, so he was very lucky.

I visited Yasmine Hammamet in April and the Tunisian people within the hotel complex were extremely friendly. It is those that I feel sorry for as they will lose their livelihood as people will now avoid the country

It's becoming increasingly difficult to know which countries to avoid.

I'm really pleased for you! A massive relief that she's safe!
