The unprofitability and anachronistic nature of coal mining closed the coal mines. Good riddance too. Coal belongs in the 19th century.
yes but they still blame the guy who took the decision.

Then they should be angry at Raegan. It was under his administration that coal miners began to lose jobs at a dizzying rate. Coal mine job losses as a percentage increased higher under him than anyone else.
And every president except one of the Bush terms has lost coal mine jobs since...
Even Trump who saw coal miners gain jobs at first, is now losing coal mining jobs...
Part of it is improved efficiency over the last 30 odd years and part of it is that coal sucks.
all I know is whatever nail ol bill hammered in their coffins they bought it up as big reason why Hillary was never getting a vote
I thought it was her own comment she made about getting rid of coal that did it.
So what Trump did lol.... I bet they'll still vote for him in 20no what I heard in the aftermath. it was said the states that turned would have voted for Hitler over a Clinton.
he went in and promised to open mine and spammed the place with mass rallys while she barely visited any at all.
"people who vote for Trump are racists" is such a ******ed commentThere was a NK diplomat who held a press conference without taking questions, in which he denied they'd demanded an end to all sanctions, which is Korean for Trump's a liar. Smart diplomaticking.
A conversation on CNN last night discussed the best tactic for the Democrats in 2020. All agreed that winning New York and California means nothing. They need to win back the purple states Trump won. How to do that is the question. Do they appeal to the centre, which Hillary failed to do - the "popular vote" means nothing and it's all about the electoral college, which is there for a reason - or do they try to energise those who don't normally vote, as Obama did, with a younger radical? Mid-term elections aren't ideal barometers but the recent ones were undeniably won by the latter.

WASHINGTON — President Trump ordered his chief of staff to grant his son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, a top-secret security clearance last year, overruling concerns flagged by intelligence officials and the White House’s top lawyer, four people briefed on the matter said.
Mr. Trump’s decision in May so troubled senior administration officials that at least one, the White House chief of staff at the time, John F. Kelly, wrote a contemporaneous internal memo about how he had been “ordered” to give Mr. Kushner the top-secret clearance.
The White House counsel at the time, Donald F. McGahn II, also wrote an internal memo outlining the concerns that had been raised about Mr. Kushner — including by the C.I.A. — and how Mr. McGahn had recommended that he not be given a top-secret clearance

Assange had even gone on TV to talk about it well before that date

hmmmm... not sure this hazing is really for me yet... still feeling left out
hmmmmmm... I feel left out of the hazing here
hmmmm... not sure this hazing is really for me yet... still feeling left out
Is that in response to Frank's racists comment? I feel like I'm missing something.
