Its a collective group think.

They spiral around down ever deep and anyone who stands up and says no i don't agree gets vilified. Its a classic example of the phenomenon taken to global proportions.

It's like... ok say to a gay man well why won't you sleep with this woman... they would call you homophobic.

They ask you why won't you as a straight man sleep with a man who's transitioned and then call you a Phobic of a different type

Then they would never ask LGBT peopel of whatever trait why don't they anything though... its they can asks straight people under the guise of inclusion.

Do I know my country (as with most western countries) is First World because we stole and subjugated from other territories? Yes? Am I lucky that I was born white in a western country? Well, no; that's superstitious clap trap passing as social judgement. It's purely biological... parents where white, their parents so on and so on... it wasn't a deal of cards .... it was generation's of men and women mating who were white down to at some point thousands of years ago when they lived a south...then a little more North etc etc... until they stopped here. It wasn't some lucky break I should feel grateful for.

Don't agree that we shouldn't feel lucky. i think its a state of mind personally. Not something to beat someone down with.

The modern world is full of pressures and you see lots of people crack under it. Its a perspective. Yeah it hard make ends meet and yeah i'd like this or that but I am very well off.

That state of mind serves me personally well.

Its gratitude to my direct elders of what they'd done to raise me and mine to get to this point (and responsibility to raise next generation right)

After that people who wave it about to hide behind are just tossers.

Oh and i don't take personal responsibility for history of what others have done to others any more than we force germans to do so. Why should we ignore the lessons learned in japan and Germany post WWII of and go about playing silly blame games so we can ignore the actual real issues of how to actually solve an issue or two.

The reality for a lot of those who throw the white privilege is they want an excuse as to who something isn't right for them now rather than go fix it.

man, white, stright... apparently we rule the world.

the reality is the vast vast majority of us are just as badly off as all the rest of the population.

Now we all know that historically white people have had it better than black people. However in modern day society where things are becoming more equal (and its more socio-economic imo in britain alongside cultural) is that what some people want, is that we should re-divide everything up because what has been passed on shouldn't have. They want to reset wealth and will complain about it, even though as you say 90% haven't really benefited.

I'm sure the chavvy kid whos mum is on benefits and he's the 6th child doesn't thank white priviledge for ending up where he (or she) is.

Bergdorf is the most racist thing (man/woman whatever) that I have ever heard is this country that has not faced prosecution/public backlash for the said offence.

Indeed, because the progressive left (Guardian et al) believes that if you are not white, you can't be racist and also that non whites are so less human that they can't be held to the same standards, that women are so feeble they need a leg up everywhere.
