Don't agree that we shouldn't feel lucky. i think its a state of mind personally. Not something to beat someone down with. The modern world is full of pressures and you see lots of people crack under it. Its a perspective. Yeah it hard make ends meet and yeah i'd like this or that but I am very well off. That state of mind serves me personally well. Its gratitude to my direct elders of what they'd done to raise me and mine to get to this point (and responsibility to raise next generation right) After that people who wave it about to hide behind are just tossers. Oh and i don't take personal responsibility for history of what others have done to others any more than we force germans to do so. Why should we ignore the lessons learned in japan and Germany post WWII of and go about playing silly blame games so we can ignore the actual real issues of how to actually solve an issue or two.
