Interesting I've only ever known it in cancer treatment when it's given on 3-4 week cycles. Was kind of hoping he'd be off it and the effects wear off just about a week before the election!

So basically if your loved one dies of or with Covid19 they can have their death certified and cremation certified by the same medical practitioner and sent for cremation within hours and the government have removed your right to see or query that decision before the cremation takes place which in turn removes your right to request a coroners report or second opinion.

Hold on... this bit seems to suggest something more than the consequence of removing Form 5?

It's one thing to say that it removes the family's right to query the details of the death provided by the medical practitioner (which is a fair point to raise and question). But that's entirely different to what's being implied above, that they somehow now have the power to cart the body off for a rushed cremation as a result of withdrawing that form, which they dont.

What I'm going to say is nothing to do with covid;

I'm going to speak openly here, but I've always had a view that I don't want my death dwelled over by doctors and coroners, once I'm dead, I'm dead! I don't see how it helps any of my family to know the exact circumstances of how I die. I suppose I'm just taking all the politics and medical science out of this....just something I've always viewed that way. Now people might argue, it's important to know, for example, if my death could have been avoided, to that I say, I'm dead!

Couldn't agree more. Who gives a fck.

The only time I'd want to know is if it was a loved one and I genuinely thought there was a fck up by the doctors but it would have to be something bloody major... like went in for a hernia, dies on the operating theatre type stuff.

I've always hated this disturbing macabre outlook over the dead, just bury me, stick me on a bonfire but ffs I don't want some psycho coroner getting his kicks by examing every organ of me.

The thing is though, that article Aber posted is suggesting something different, like it's something being done to you by the government and the doctors rather than your personal choice, which isn't true.

Since Harold, there has to be more security.

He was basically able to sign a death warrant, waive the right to a pm and carry on assisting elderly ladies, with their last will and testament.
