Slow as custard? Guess you never saw Caldwell and Breen play?

Bramble and Turner had enough clean sheets before the injuries hit to show they are both premiership standard.

Turner came back from a serious injury, and probably wont be back to full fitness (and match sharp) till after the pre-season.

Sell ferdinand by all means, but i will be dissapointed if we sell turner (unless Bruce has a spectactular replacement lined up).

Sadly I saw them Dan - and "Big Jim" Holton who - yes - were slower. I just don't rate him. Keen yes, but not savvy?

unless bruce has a top replacement lined up, this would be a major **** up letting him go. imo.

I dunno, commach. The young lad Lane got a lot of minutes. I can't comment cos I didn't see the games, but if the offer from Bolton is a good one, I'd feel comfortable with what we have.

if its a good offer we'd have to listen, but we'd still need a replacement.

Alright lads just seen about the rumours Turner is off to Bolton and with yesterdays reports Brucie is ready to back for Onuoha would that be a good deal for the club?

I thought this would be a good idea, but as I started a thread saying Ned wasn't coming yesterday I thought I'd better keep my head down on the topic!

It would be a good move imho.

Can't see Brucie selling Turner like, unless they've had a talk and Turner has realised his 1st team chances are going to be crippled this season. If it was a one out one in, I'd rather see Ferdinand going the other way. Either way, Onuoha would be a quality signing (think there's a few teams in the hunt for him now?)

Id sell turner in a heartbeat! If we could pick up Ned or ideally Samba Id be chuffed to bits.

Turner is an honest pro, but not good enough.

Bruce, to me, seems to like versatile defenders; those that can play in more than one role (except Titus, who may well be his love child - the likeness is uncanny.....)

Turner is an old-fashioned center-back. Lovely. My old position and in my style. Win the ball and lump it away. If it comes back, win it again and lump it away again.

    Thats him, I'm afraid.

Ned, all of them, can mix and match.

I think if we were to buy Ned and gave him that stability, he could be awesome. Classy, quick, clever.

Sorry some of you, but I hope this happens.
